Jesse “Daze” Swindell — widely known as Lord Daze — is not just building brands; he’s building bridges. The New York City–born serial entrepreneur, hip-hop recording artist, and media executive is quietly reshaping how Colombia is perceived by American audiences through his growing multimedia company, Scrilla Guerillaz Entertainment & Magazine.
At a time when U.S.–Latin American relations were defined by tension, rhetoric, and distance, Daze chose a different route: culture over conflict. Instead of leaning into headlines driven by politics, he invested directly in people, creativity, and shared experiences. That decision led to the launch of a new SG Entertainment & Magazine branch in Medellín, Colombia — a move that has since become one of the company’s most impactful expansions.

By planting roots in Medellín, Daze opened a global doorway for Colombian creatives, entrepreneurs, and tastemakers who have long existed outside mainstream American media narratives. The result is SG Magazine Issue #34, a Colombia-focused edition dedicated entirely to showcasing the city’s nightlife, cuisine, fashion, music, business ecosystem, and creative pulse. Rather than revisiting outdated stereotypes, the issue captures a city in motion — innovative, safe, stylish, and culturally rich.

One of the most celebrated moments in Issue #34 is its spotlight on five influential female DJs who are redefining Medellín’s nightlife. By centering women as cultural leaders, Daze reinforces a core SG philosophy: elevate underrepresented voices and challenge industry norms on a global scale. In a city known for rhythm and reinvention, these women are not just participating — they are controlling the sound, the spaces, and the narrative.
The momentum doesn’t stop with print. Building on the success of SG Magazine’s Colombia presence, Daze is now stepping further into visual storytelling with the launch of a new reality television series, Road to Colombia. Production begins in February 2026 in Medellín, with the series designed to give U.S. audiences an authentic, unfiltered look at everyday life in Colombia — far removed from the sensationalized portrayals that have dominated mainstream media for decades.
Road to Colombia follows Lord Daze alongside Duron Karter, Goldmouf, NFD Haze, and Leroy Whitehurst as they immerse themselves in the city’s culture, nightlife, and community. Blending adventure, romance, and self-discovery, the series captures genuine human connection against the backdrop of one of Latin America’s fastest-growing creative hubs. Produced by SG Magazine and Canelon Visuals, with executive production by Duron Karter, Kevin Townley, and VR Novels 360, the show is slated to premiere on major streaming platforms — including Amazon Prime and Netflix — later in 2026.

At its core, Daze’s work in Colombia is about narrative correction. In an era where global conversations are often shaped by division, SG Magazine’s expansion proves that unity, creativity, and respect still resonate louder than politics. By amplifying Colombian voices and experiences, Lord Daze is helping redefine cultural exchange — not as a trend, but as a long-term commitment.
Outside the noise of policy debates and media bias, a different story is being told — one rooted in love, culture, and collaboration. And increasingly, audiences are listening.
