Printz Tone has always viewed music through the lens of emotion and memory. Growing up drawing and later exploring the world during his military service, he learned how certain songs attach themselves to certain seasons of life. It’s why he says, “Music is like a timestamp… I want my music to last and have that feel.” After settling in Charlotte and continuing his artistic journey, he crafted a sound that reflects who he is cool, simple, and full of genuine energy.
His new single “You Got Me” is exactly that. The track captures the bright, upbeat feel of summer a season full of movement and good times. “The song was inspired by the summertime and the feel you get from going out and having fun,” he shares.
