MiamiCityWeekly: You’ve been getting a lot of attention lately in your community. How does that feel?
Keadon: Honestly, it feels unreal. I started all of this by myself — no help, no big equipment, just me learning how to record and post online. Seeing people from my town and even other countries support me… it’s something I’ll never take for granted.

MiamiCityWeekly: Who inspired you to start making music in the first place?
Keadon: Reece Brunke. During the start of the pandemic, I’d listen to him nonstop. He made rap feel real — like it wasn’t about showing off, but about telling your story. That’s what I wanted to do.

MiamiCityWeekly: What motivates you to keep creating?
Keadon: My passion, my duo, and my producer. They push me, but a lot of my drive comes from seeing how far I’ve come. Every video, every song — I just want to make it better than the last.

MiamiCityWeekly: Tell us about “Descending.”
Keadon: It’s special. It’s one of those songs that really shows how much I’ve grown vocally and mentally. I put a lot of emotion into it, and it’s honestly a thank-you to everyone who’s been supporting me from day one.

MiamiCityWeekly: You’ve mentioned that the rap scene in Timmins can be tough.
Keadon: Yeah, it’s not easy. It’s mostly country and rock up here. But instead of complaining, I just decided to build my own path. Every connection, every view — I earned it brick by brick. I’m proud of that.
