Brown’s endorsement gave LocalHen’s music a new level of reach and energy, while also validating his earlier work. “Being from Pittsburgh, AB has always been a larger-than-life figure,” Henne notes. “To have him notice my music felt like a blessing.” That inspiration directly fueled the EP’s title CAN U BE / AB.
